Benefit for Vic Svendsen
The benefit held on July 30th had a tremendous turnout.

I've known Vic for as many
years as I've been publishing
Lowcountry Fish Scales.

Vic is a native of Charleston
and long time fisherman
and just an all around
great guy!

As a fellow angler and friend,
I'd like to invite everyone to
join together this coming
Saturday for a benefit for Vic.

In March of this year, Vic was
diagnosed with Throat Cancer.
 

Vic has been through chemotherapy
and radiaton and although
his insurance has
been helpful, there are
still some unmeet needs.

So, this Saturday
July 30th, 2011
from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
his friends have organized a
benefit in his honor to
help with his expenses.

There will be music,
food and drinks.

All proceeds from the food
and drink sales will go to
help Vic with his bills.

There will be a silent auction
and Wheel-of-Fortune.
