Date Saturday - June 4, 2011 Fishing begins at 12:00 am Weigh-in 4:00 to 6:00 pm Charleston Maritime Center Awards Ceremony following the weigh-in Eligible Species Spanish Mackerel King Mackerel Flounder Sheepshead Ladyfish Spottail with the most spots Dogfish Due to the request of the SCDNR and the CLA's commitment to responsible fishing, they will NOT have Trout as an eligible species this year. The unusually cold weather the past two years has decreased the Trout numbers and the CLA supports protecting the species. Replacing the Trout category will be a 1st Place only "Spottail Bass with the most spots" Awards For the 5 regular species 1st Place - $200.00 and a plaque 2nd Place - $100.00 and a plaque 3rd Place - Castnet 1st Place - Spottail with the most spots - Mystery Prize to be announced at the Capt's Meeting 1st Place - Dogfish - Castnet Awards for: Outstanding Male, Female and Youth Angler (12 and under) |
